Definitions
TheIntegrityApp: is a website for the self-assessment of integrity programmes. After answering a simple and practical questionnaire, your company/institution will receive a score from 0 to 100 that indicates its level of adherence to business integrity standards. It is important to remember that the website does not realise a certification. Based on the results, the user gets access to information on how to establish a policy to promote integrity in his business. TheIntegrityApp is accessible on the web
Alliance for Integrity is a global, multi-stakeholder initiative implemented by the GIZ lead by the business sector to encourage transparency and integrity in the economic system.
Users: Companies and institutions that wish to measure their integrity practices in form of a self-assessment process to strategically implement or enhance their compliance programmes.
Important Information
Do you know what a Compliance Programme is? A Compliance Programme, in summary, represents the set of measures adopted by companies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations to which they are subject. Given the adaptable (and broad) meaning of the term, the topics in a Compliance Programme can vary from company to company based on their goals and risk assessment processes. That is why content provided by the GIZ in TheIntegrityApp may not fulfil all the requirements under the local legislation. As far as possible, GIZ will tailor the Content to specific regions as much as possible, to support the prevention of domestic and international corruption. The results and eventual "scores" from TheIntegrityApp are only an automatic analysis done by the system, based exclusively on information provided by Users. These results also do not represent any official certification for any purpose nor indicate that the GIZ has verified or attested that any User fulfils all the compliance requirements of any local or foreign law. The results attributed to the Users are merely indicative and aim to suggest a relevant tool or Content to improve the Compliance Programmes of the companies involved, indirectly contributing to a more ethical business environment by disseminating and promoting a so-called compliance culture.
Terms of Use
